Here are some pictures of the model of Minas Tirith I made using 3ds max. This was done for my computer graphics class, this was my first experience with 3D modeling. This was also our fist big assignment, recreate a castle from the real world or any fantasy world of our choosing. I was inspired to attempt to recreate Minas Tirith because at the time I was reading The Two Towers. This might make some people confused since if you’ve read The Two Towers recently you would know that Minas Tirith is only mentioned once or twice, but I thought that The White City would be more fun to create than Orthanc or Helms Deep.
